Yesterday was the shadhinota dibosh of USA.....I knew the info, but didn't find any good reason to think about it. However, I was forced to think about it when I found out on my way back home that due to US partying, the road adjacant to US embassy has been temporarily closed. Now isn't that unfair? It was 9 PM, and I had already spent more than 12 hours outta home. I was so pissed off that I don't feel like talking about it now.

I can describe my life in AG terms now...hehe. Every morning at around 8:05 AM, I log into my office PC, and check my mails, and then I log into AG. Same routine I follow from Sunday to Thursday, every week. I must say, I am partially responsible for making the chit chat section off-topic centered. But I don't regret. If the mods and admins think that we should not spend so much time socializing (cause the messengers are there), I'll say that messenger cannot be a substitute for off-topic, where even 10 people often talks at the same time. Yeah I know, this thread is taking away a lot of posting time from our regulars...but I guess this is happening due to the lacklustre topics in Chit Chat. Some topics are totally rubbish.....and yet they exist. Most topics have nothing to be discussed about.....I see people getting in and posting their arguments. It's like in a huge room...everyone is saying what they want to say. Nobody's listening to what others are saying. I have also seen this in the music section. Come on, this is a discussion board, not an opinion board. People should support/disapprove other peoples comments besides posting their own. This is practiced in some threads, but not in most threads. the thread "What are you listening to"--here, a guy just posts away what he's listening. Sometimes I see people saying...hey that's a great song you were listening to. Some people like Stormy bhai also atttaches their personal feelings with the song..(beshi joss gaan...10 baar shunlaam), etc. But just mentioning the song and artist's name (what I do often), seems like a blatant way of increasing number of posts.

I think the admins have thought a lot about this number of posts issue. There will always be some users who'd post only for the sake of posting, and a big motivation for them is the number of post and relevant titles for it. The admins and mods are doing their best to discourage such behavior, and that's really appreciable

It's good to see that Henry bhai has also opened a blog. I can learn how to make this a worthwhile log by seeing their posts. I saw a comment by Anika that it isn't fair that people cannot comment here. Well...I think it has already been said that you can always post your comments and questions in our DC threads. I already received two PMs based on my Blog comments, and that's actually a good thing.

Basically this is the days last entry from me....just read Fay's Blog. he thinks I haven't understood the notion of this thread Well it is not possible for me to get into people's mind and know what they are storing there. The rules didn't tell me much, and as this thing hasn't been done before, I think only time will tell which style is more relevant. Anyways....I think all of my entries revolved around AG, at least to some extent. I guess the Off-Topic flooding will start shortly. Now that some of us are being deprived off MSN, it is very natural that posts in that thread will increase.

It has been a bittersweet day for us, the members of UthshobOrg. We sold some more tickets, and we have adequate resources for holding the event. Inshallah no last moment disaster will shake our effort. Like Fay said, we can do things on our own which might make him consider taking brave decisions? Maybe he wants to leave AG and go to bonobaash. Hehe....I , too personally believe that he should take a break from this hectic life.

Anyways,....throughout the day, I've been balancing my AG and office time. Lucky I didn't have much brainwork to do today--onekdin porey it's a quiet Sunday today. Gft bollo chi chi ami naki office er kaje faki diye browse kori. Well I don't need to defend myself for any damned reason, but still I feel the urge to refute that statement.....ehem...Grameen Phone er image bole kotha! Well we always work late hours, and we're also under constant pressure. Eijonno we are allowed to listen to songs, visit several sites, and do whatever we like during our leisure time. When I'm that busy, I cannot even pickup the phone! Eije kaj eshe gesey...ami phutlaam.

I brought 2 tunafish sandwiches (four slices of bread), which were cut in a way so that I have 4 separate mini sandwiches. Iccha chilo duita khabo breakfast hishebe (yeah, I missed the breakfast at home....for more details, read my 2nd post up there). Jai hoke...it's a tragedy that I ate 3 sandwiches, and ekta matro baki asey....and I'm feeling hungry. Mone hoy baire jaite hobe.....aro beshi tragic. I have the black spots on my trouser, and I'm really feeling embarrassed to go out in this state. Obossho I care the least about these things....but still

As I'm really young, I make a lot of mistakes. Mistakes are part of my life, and I try to take lessons from the silly mistakes I make. Like today morning, I made some stupid mistakes. Firstly, I woke up early, but didn't bother to get outta get. When I finally did, I had 15 minutes to get ready and catch the office bus. I've been making this same mistake over and over. I hear the mobile alarm, but I turn it off, and get back to sleep. It's been happening for quite some time. I was, however, able to catch the bus on time. But I realized that I left my cell phone at home. So I had to desert the bus and get back home.

Ashar shomoy I had this ball point pen in my pant's pocket. It did not have the cap on. When I got down from the bus ( a local one indeed), I found out that the pen had leaked, and my pant now has two wonderful, unremoveable black spots!

Oita clean korte giye I also made my right hand black with ink...those damned ballpens, they contain so much ink. Office ey eshe I opened the Outlook express to find out that ami jeishob thread ey subscribed, shegulo theke 505 ta mail ashche last 2 days ey. Weekend ey ami Basha theke AG tey dhuki, so these mails get missed out. It's great to have a Pop mail account with unlimited space

I read through my favorite thread, Off-Topic....and yes, our dear Fay was kind enough to reinstate the popular name for the thread. Majkhane duidin ki jeno ekta naam chilo which I don't want to recall. Today is a nice day....I don't have that much of work pressure. Enjoying my time mostly. I plan to post a lot in AG today. Abar dekha hobe. Adios.

Background

I started blogging in www.amadergaan.com/forum , on 4th July, 2004. Thus in order to celebrate my 3rd year of blogging, I have decided to import all of my AG blogs under this blog. I want to look back and re-read the stuff I wrote when I was in my 20s. I wish to do that when I'm 60 year old. So here it is, the AG blog of mine.

I wish to do the same to my "Dangerous Confessions" thread in AG, too. But that will happen after this is done with.
